Event Details

To support our mission, on August 16th, 2008, Angels of Courage Retreats will be hosting its 2nd annual Fundraiser "Run, Ride, & Boogie!" The events of the day include:

Location: Cormorant Community Center (12.5 miles S. of Lake Park, MN)

5K Family Fun Run/Walk 10:00 AM (Results)

The 5K will be a great run for the seasoned runner as well as a challenge for the beginner.  Families are welcome and encouraged to participate!  This 5K is an enjoyable lakes country run with views of the lake and country roads.  The course will include stretches of pavement and gravel and start at 10 AM at the Cormorant Community Center.

5K Run only - $15 (includes t-shirt*)
5K Run & Dinner/Dance - $35** (includes t-shirt*)
5K Run & Dinner/Dance Children 12 and younger - $20** (includes t-shirt*)

*Run t-shirts available for first 150 people who register.
**Combination price of $35/adult or $20/children (12 and younger) for run and dinner is available if tickets are purchased together.

Note: All participants must sign an Event Waiver prior to participating in the event. Waivers will be available the day of registration.

Motorcycle Ride 12:00 PM

Is riding more your style? Come join us on a beautiful motorcycle ride through lakes country! The event will start at 12 PM (noon) at the Cormorant Community Center and finish (around 6 PM) with various stops in the lakes area to draw for door prizes and a little R and R. If you’re riding down from Fargo/Moorhead, riders will meet at Solid Performance at 10 AM. (3931 37th Ave. S., Fargo, ND)

Ride & Dinner/Dance Children (12 and younger) - $20** (includes t-shirt*)

Dinner 6-8 PM

Elmer’s Authentic Texas BBQ will be served at the Cormorant Community Center starting at 6 PM.

Dance only - $10

Silent Auction 6-9 PM

The Silent auction will be filled with many great items and we will be accepting items until August 1st. The auction will start at 6 PM and continue until 9 PM. More details regarding the Silent Auction on Page 5.

Dance 8-12 AM

The evening will conclude with a dance which starts at 8:00 pm.
