Rest your body, rejuvenate your mind, and restore your soul at the Angels of Courage Retreats first retreat focusing on adult cancer survivors.
Where: Fair Hills Resort on Pelican Lake (Map)
When: September 29th & September 30th; registration begins at 8:30am, program begins at 9:00am.
The mission of the Angels of Courage is to create an environment that encourages those affected by chronic illness or the loss of a loved one to live life with courage. The vision of the organization is to create weekend retreats focusing on a specific topic.
During this weekend of renewal, as we explore how to live our lives in the midst of our illness/survivorship, the holistic program will include discussions with:
- Dr. Nathan Kobrinsky--MeritCare Medical Center
- Dr. Cathy Breedon--MeritCare Medical Center
- Chaplain Phillis Bennet--Mayo Clinic Cancer Center
- Carly Nelson--Co-founder Angels of Courage Retreats
Cost: The cost is $100 which covers all presentations, three meals and one nights lodging.
